Dear Distinguished Seniors, Colleagues, and Fellow Practitioners,

As we move forward in this rapidly evolving era, the field of urology has reached a pivotal turning point. It is with great honor that we announce the theme for this year's Annual Meeting: "Urology in Synergy."

This theme underscores the spirit of "profound interdisciplinary collaboration."

We recognize that future medical breakthroughs will no longer be confined to a single discipline; instead, they will emerge from the seamless convergence of clinical expertise, basic science, and cutting-edge technology.

The upcoming conference will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2 .

We have not only gathered insights from world-leading experts but have also curated a series of symposia focusing on clinical practice and scientific breakthroughs. Through high-level dialogue and the exchange of ideas, we aim to collectively drive the advancement of urological medicine. The team from Tri-Service General Hospital is proud to work alongside you to establish a new paradigm for Taiwan on the international stage.

Beyond the rigorous academic program, we have thoughtfully arranged a social excursion for rejuvenation and connection. We cordially invite you and your family to join our half-day tour on Saturday afternoon, August 22nd , titled "A Feast of Mountains, Seas, and Waterfalls: Jiufen & Shifen."

You may explore the Shifen Waterfall—often referred to as "Taiwan’s Niagara Falls"—and experience the misty grandeur of the falls from its well-maintained trails. We will then visit the historic streets of Jiufen to taste authentic taro balls and capture the ethereal lantern light of tea houses—reminiscent of scenes from Spirited Away —set against breathtaking mountain and ocean vistas.

Your participation is the most powerful catalyst for medical progress. We look forward to seeing you in Nangang to witness this academic feast of interdisciplinary synergy.

Sincerely,

Dr. En Meng Congress President, 2026 TUA Annual Meeting Director, Institute of Preventive Medicine, National Defense Medical Center
