Rules Governing Selection of Winner of Lifetime
Member Award
Passed at the Third Session of the Fourteenth
Joint Meeting of Directors, Supervisors, and
Consultants on April 30, 2005
Article 1 Purpose: To commend urologists for their
dedication to and support for the study
and clinical treatment of urinary
disorders.
Article 2 Sponsored by: Taiwan
Urology Association
Article 3 Participants:
Association Members
Article 4 Selection method:
1.
Members aged 65 and older who continue
to passionately support and participate
in Association-sponsored activities and
are recommended by at least two Members.
2.
Recommenders shall submit recommendation
to Board of Directors and Supervisors
indicating the candidate’s achievements
with relevant papers attached.
3.
Selection is conducted by the board
meeting of directors and supervisors.
Winners need to be approved by
two-thirds of all directors and
supervisors present.
Article 5 Period during which
recommendations are accepted:
February 1-March 31 of each year
Article 6 Awarding of prizes:
Prizes are awarded at the annual member
meeting. Winners are awarded a trophy
with their contributions posted.
Article 7 The rules become
effective after being approved by the
Joint Meeting of Directors and
Supervisors. The same procedure is
required for revisions of the rules.
